He's being nice and supportive. To me that screams good mate. I know you girls are real dumbasses when it comes to signals like that though.

Needing to try a different guy... obviously he's suggesting himself. Or at the very least saying he wants you to be happy, even if it means picking another guy.

I think you got yourself a winner so far, worth pursuing. Try not to pick some guy who puts cigarettes out on you because he's "exciting".. .you know..
