For me it was 98-99% for ideological reasons and 1-2% for romantic reasons and actually I left a church I went to cause I liked a guy who worked there and we used to talk to each other for over an hour a day so it’s not like he hated me but I just did not want to be anywhere near him after I started to like him and it’s been 4 years since I left that church. He event invited me to a one week conference alone with him - he had no issues with me but I avoided him like the plague.

I don’t usually go to social events at all since I’m a cave dweller basically, but sometimes my friend will really want me to go so I’ll go for her. I’m dating someone so if I ever go to a social event, it will usually be with him or I’ll not be around for long.

I would say no. If I go to a social event it’s usually just to have a good time with the people I’m with. Plus I don’t think I’d want to be bothered by a guy if I’m just there to enjoy the ambient.
