Why I still love him even though he hurt me so much?

I know this guy for so long like 10 years and our relationship up n down. He kinda rude guy who likes yelling with bad words when he was angry, very often he gave me silent treatment, very slow reply my messages, sometimes sweet but in another time he treat me so bad. I asked him if probably he has mood swing problem but he didn't answer it n just went away.
After everything that he did to me i still love him. I tried so hard to forget him but he stuck on my mind. Its unussual feelings for me. What should i do?

Because genuine feelings don't just go away. If you really love and care for someone, it's hard to just forget that. Even when they continue to hurt you. You have to decide who matters more, you or him? You can love him and know that he isn't good for you. Use your pain to help you move on. And realize that the pain won't last forever. You can love someone while knowing that they are bad for you. Put yourself first.

(Now if I could only take my own advice!)

You created a neurological pathway in your brain for him. A habit formed, if you will. All habits take exercising like muscle to change your mind literally. Develop new habits that don't involve him. Focus on your own personal growth. If you keep in the same "neuro loop" , you will feel this way forever. In other words, change your mind.
