[Advice] I cheated on my girlfriend and I'm not going to tell her. Does the guilt ever go away?

I had sex with a coworker of mine and I have decided not to tell my girlfriend about it. I think it would just unnecessarily hurt her, so it's not worth it. We're very serious and we are going to get married one day and I don't want to jeopardize that.

The problem is that I still feel guilty. Every time we have sex or I look her in the eyes or kiss her, I just feel horrible. Will this feeling ever pass? I felt much worse the day after it happened, so I think the feeling of guilt is fading slowly, but how long will it take? Does anyone have any advice as to how to get over it?

You need to break this relationship off if you think you can get away with this not being found out. What if your co-worker told her instead of you! It is never going to go away as long as you continue to hide that from her. And you just had sex with her. Not a good. Not good at all. It is going to hurt her. And she will eventually 'sense' something isn't right. You can fool her all you want, but your body language will always tell the truth. Actions speak louder than words you know. This lie will continue to grow like cancer and a parasite, and then your going blow up emotionally because you won't be able to take it anymore. Then your screwed. And no, you are not serious about her. Because if you were you would have told her the truth. Man up! Don't be a coward, you already did a cowardly move by sleeping with another chick! If she doesn't find this out now, she will eventually later and then you better pray to whatever you believe in that she won't file for divorce, null the marriage because that is considered marriage fraud! I don't know what kind of advice were you expecting. You cheated on her, you know that. No sane woman or man wants to go through that. You already jeopardize this relationship. By you hiding this, your a lair. And this will haunt you for the rest of your living days, and you will regret this. Tell her the truth or it is over. And if your co-worker god forbid had an STD, never been tested, and unprotected or got pregnant. Your screwed, really screwed. You better fix it, and you better fix it now if you even want to have a chance at keeping this relationship or you can forget even having it. And that is IF she is that forgiving.

It's good you feel guilty. I cheated on my ex and felt nothing that's when I realized that I needed to end the relationship. We've all done dumb shit we're not proud of. Learn from your mistakes. Over time the guilt will die down but remember that feeling so you'll never be tempted to do it again. And piece of advice. Cut everything off from your cowoker. If you were dumb enough to do it once you might be dumb enough to do it again so stay away from her.
